Gates and oak posts in Wroxham

This was a logistical challenge! Making church doors into a garden gate.... The gates were extremely solid (for solid, read: heavy!) and needed a jointed oak arch and posts to hang within. Because the arch was so specialist, we found a set of hands at a local boat builders to make the arch on our behalf,  and it all went together perfectly, with a concrete pad at the base.

A difficult job but definitely rewarding, and the customer was very happy with the result.
